The Riyadh Parking Project was established to enhance the quality of life by developing smart and innovative solutions that facilitate smooth mobility and streamline the process of finding parking spaces for residents and visitors.
The project currently covers approximately 166,000 parking spaces, of which %17
are paid public and commercial street parking spaces in Riyadh. Additionally, car
parking will be managed by offering control and resolution services for parking
located within residential neighborhoods adjacent to paid parking zones, which
account for approximately %83 of the total parking areas.
The project is being activated gradually. Launch dates will be announced through
social media platforms.
Type 1 : Paid parking on public and commercial streets.
Type 2 : Managed parking spaces that exist inside residential neighborhoods
adjacent to paid areas.
Parking operation hours are 15 hours a day, from Saturday to Thursday, between
7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, excluding Fridays and official holidays.
Any change in the working hours will be announced on the social media
platforms.
No, it is not possible to change or modify the parking ticket. Users must book
a new ticket if they wish to park in a different area.
Yes, users can extend their parking ticket via the Riyadh Parking app or self-service payment machines. Steps to extend your booking via the app: Go to the "My Bookings" section > Select "Active Bookings" > Choose "Extend" > Select the desired time > Complete the payment
